Worth Asking
You have been texting for a fortnight. You are meeting on Thursday. And you still do not know one thing about them that you couldn’t have read on their profile.
So send your questions ahead. They answer in their own time, on their own phone, and a PDF comes out at the end. You both turn up past the small talk and into the conversation you actually wanted to have.
Who this is for
People who would rather have one real conversation than five polite ones. People who have come home from a date knowing nothing they could not have guessed. People who like a good question — the kind you would answer for the pleasure of answering it, even with no date at the end of it.
Asking is the whole point. Choosing what to ask somebody says something true about you before you have said a word out loud: that you are taking this seriously, that you are interested in them specifically, and that you would rather be known than approved of.
It is not for everyone, and that is deliberate. If the best part of meeting someone new is that neither of you knows anything yet, this will spoil it. Don’t use it. There is nothing here for somebody who wants to be efficient about people.
Nobody sees the answers. Not even us.
Not “they’re encrypted”, not “we don’t look” — never sees them. There is no account, no database and no upload. The questions travel inside the part of a web address that browsers never send, and the answers are typed into a page that has nowhere to post them.
Turn off your wifi and your mobile data. Fill it in. The PDF still comes out.
That shows the page doesn’t need the network. It isn’t proof that it never uses one — a page that works offline could still phone home when it reconnects. What the page actually cannot do, and why, is on the how it works page. We would rather explain the limit than overstate the promise.
What this is not
Not a dating app. No accounts, no profiles, no matching, no chat, no feed, no notifications. It has no idea who you are and cannot find out.
Other apps in this corner sell you lists of questions. This sells the mechanism. The questions are yours.
Two honest warnings
This makes a file, and files can be kept and forwarded. Whoever answers should treat it that way, and skip anything they would not want kept.
Anyone can write anything into a link. Because nothing reaches a server, nobody here can see, moderate or stop a question — which also means there is no report button that could work. If a link has been used against you, this page says what can actually be done.
